Cooper's Gem Stone Mine is now offering camping during Bristol Motor Speedway Events. The Campground is operated by Jonathan, a young 16 year old entrepreneur who wishes to begin working at a young age to pay for a college education. Cooper's Gem Stone Mine Camping is located approx 4 miles from the speedway in historical Blountville. The Fall 2006 race is when we offered our first camping sites. Jonathan has worked for a couple of years now to help campers in the area to enjoy Northeast Tennessee while visiting the area. The campground is strategically placed in a meadow between three mountains in the foothills of Northeast TN. On any given day you may view wildlife in its natural habitat. (Don't forget that camera!) Hiking is available. One may wish to rock away the cares of everyday life on the front porch of the quaint gift shop. There is a creek that borders the entire campground. All Campsites has an access road, but the site itself is grass. It is in a low lying area and has the potential to be soggy and occasionally susceptible to flooding. There are some higher ground where tents will be positioned. We hope that your entire family will choose to spend your race week vacation at our place. While planning your trip please keep in mind the follow regulations:

No Golf Carts, ATV's or  Off Road Motorcycles allowed to be in Campground.

No on site propane tank refills.

No dump station. (service is available through an outside company)

NO LOUD NOISES. (THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED)

We prefer to cater to families, so please no alcohol.

Rates is $ 70.00 dollars per 24 hour period for RV'S, Pop-ups, and Pull Behinds.

Rates for tents are $ 45.00 per 24 hour period.

Rentals available for Spring and Fall Races at Bristol Motor Speedway.

For the Fall 2008 reservations, there are no size/space restrictions on vehicle size.
